Brent Munyon

Forensic Accident Reconstructionist/Partner

Brent Munyon began his tenure with Adamson Engineering L.L.C. as an investigative assistant in 2006. In 2015, due to Brent’s outstanding growth in the field of accident reconstruction and his educational achievements, he was made partner in A&M Forensics and Engineering, Inc. Brent holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice and a Master of Science in Pharmaceutical Sciences with a concentration in Forensic Sciences. Brent is an ACTAR Accredited Traffic Accident Reconstructionist and is recognized as an expert in the field of traffic accident reconstruction involving passenger vehicles, commercial vehicles, heavy trucks, motorcycles, bicycles and pedestrian collisions.

Brent served as a police officer with the Bryan Police Department as a Patrol Officer from 1993 to 1999. In addition to his normal patrol duties, he worked with state and federal agencies targeting narcotics trafficking and organized criminal activity. During his tenure with the police department, he was awarded the Police Officer of the Year in 1997 and 1998 along with four Commendation Medals.

After leaving public service for the private sector, he owned and operated a private investigation firm where he routinely investigated traffic accidents for both criminal and civil matters. Having this experience made Brent a natural fit to assist with our scene and vehicle investigations. Since joining Adamson Engineering, Brent has taken numerous accident reconstruction courses, becoming a testifying expert in 2008. He is certified to download and analyze data from Event Data Recorders for both passenger and commercial vehicles. Brent is also one of the few who are able to download GPS units.

Brent has served our country as an aircraft mechanic in the United States Air Force and still maintains a Masters Peace Officers License. He is also a licensed private investigator.
